3 Juveniles Arrested, Including 13-Year-Old for Assault Involving Dangerous Weapon — Marion Police Blotter

Marion Police made the following arrests of juveniles in the period between Sept. 14 and Sept. 19:
Police charged a 17-year-old Marion male with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia by a minor.
He was arrested Sept. 14 at 10:15 a.m.

Law enforcement arrested a 15-year-old Marion teen with public consumption/intoxication of alcohol.
The teen was charged Sept. 14 at 10:16 p.m.

Officials also arrested a 13-year-old from Cedar Rapids with an assault charge.
Police records show the teen was charged with Iowa law section 708.2 (3), which means a "dangerous weapon" was "used or displayed" in connection with the incident.
The arrest occurred Sept. 19 at 1:13 p.m.
