Ann Romney Rallies Supporters in Cedar Rapids, Des Moines; Urges Help for Hurricane Sandy Victims
The Republican presidential candidate's spouse visited the local campaign office in northwest Cedar Rapids and later at the Temple for the Performing Arts in Des Moines on Tuesday.

Mitt Romney suspended his campaign Monday as Hurricane Sandy devastated many parts of the Eastern Seaboard.
However his wife, Ann Romney, made three visit to our fair swing state Wednesday.
"When America gets in trouble what do Americans do?" the first lady hopeful said at the Cedar Rapids Victory Center, according to KCRG. "They pull forward and help each other out."

She gave a brief speech and encouraged the crowd to donate to the American Red Cross for their efforts in disaster recovery. She later took off to appear Tuesday night in Des Moines.
At the Temple for Performing Arts in Des Moines, Romney spoke of the trustworthiness of her husband.

“I trust him so completely,” Romney said, according to the Des Moines Register. “I know him so well. He always wants to do the right thing and the best thing for the country.”
And though President Barack Obama also pledged to end his campaigning Monday, Obama campaign surrogates made appearances in Iowa as well.
Michelle Obama spoke in Iowa City on Monday, while former President Bill Clinton will be visiting Waterloo, Mason City and Council Bluffs Wednesday. Vice President Joe Biden is set to visit Fort Dodge and Muscatine Thursday.
