Child Dies in Linn County Family Pool
2-year-old Aaron Rickles died from drowning in a Whittier house pool at approximately 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
The Linn County Sheriff's Department said they believe the death of a 2-year-old in Linn County was the result of an accidental drowning, but are still investigating the incident.
Aaron Rickles drowned at a Whittier residence. Law enforcement and emergency responders arrived at the scene at 2:30 p.m., according to KWWL.
An ambulance took the child to St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, where he was pronounced dead.
