Crowds Camp Outside in Anticipation of President Obama's Mount Vernon Speech
Thousands have filled Cornell College's Richard and Norma Small Multi-Sport Center in anticipation of a Speech by President Barack Obama.
A crowd camped outside Cornell College in Mount Vernon a day before the president’s speech, set to start 11:45 a.m. Wednesday.
Security started to let the audience fill Cornell College’s Richard and Norma Small Multi-Sport Center at 9 p.m. Tuesday.
This comes just one day after President Barack Obama’s debate performance, which many said was much improved from his widely perceived loss in the Oct. 3 debate.

"I thought that the president did great," said Dianne Hoffman, Linn County Democratic Party chairwoman. "I really think he outlined a clear difference for his vision for the next four years and Mr. Romney's vision for the next four years."
A snap CNN/ORC International poll found that 46 percent of respondents thought Obama won the second debate, compared with 39 percent for Romney. But nearly half said the debate did not make them more likely to vote for either candidate, and the other half was evenly divided between the two, according to the Washingon Post.

The visit marks this the president's 14th visit to the state since June.
