CSCHL Tournament Preview

The 10th ranked Iowa State Cyclones will travel to Champaign, Illinois this weekend for the annual CSCHL Conference Tournament.

A little CSCHL background - The Central States Collegiate Hockey League (CSCHL) dropped to five teams in 2015, however they send all five teams to the ACHA Championships (20 team tournament to determine national champion.)

Iowa State drew to play in the play in round against Illinois tonight at 7:30pm. The Cyclones actually swept the Fighting Illini in Ames this season, but lost both games on the road. So tonight is actually the fifth meeting between the teams.

If Iowa State wins they will take on the Ohio Bobcats at 4:30pm on Friday, a team they went 1-3 against this season. The Championship will be played on Saturday at 10:30am.
