Domestic Assault, Harassment of a Public Official and Forgery — Marion Police Blotter

The following have been arrested by from July 27 to August 8:

John David Sammons, 20, 790 Bentley Drive, Marion, was charged July 29 with assault at the corner of 10th Street and 14th Avenue.

Britny Christine Shaffer, 22, 289 14th Street, Marion, was charged with domestic assault causing serious injury and/or mental illness, harassment of a public official and public consumption/intoxication, at her home.

Troy Larry Wheeler, 22, 520 12th Street, Marion, was charged with domestic assault causing serious injury and possession of drug paraphernalia, at 520 12th Street.

Elisha Denise Robinson, 31, Cedar Rapids, was charged August 9 with driving with a barred license, habitual offender, excessive speed and providing false information, at the 2900 block of Seventh Avenue.

Brian Kenneth King, 19, 3330 McGowan Boulevard, Marion, was charged August 8 with forgery, at his residence.

Linda Renee Mitchell, 20, 1960 17th Avenue, Marion, was charged July 31 with speeding, failure to have valid identification and operating a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent, at the 300 block of Marion Boulevard.

Terry Louis Watson, 50, Cedar Rapids, was charged July 30 with driving with a suspended license and failure to obey a stop sign, at the corner of East Post Road and Medowview Drive.
