Early Voting Begins Thursday in Marion
Marion, Linn County and Iowa Voters can make their political selection with early voting starting Thursday.

Let's face it, you barely knew yesterday that you were going to be so hair-pulling busy today.
Likewise, you won't know if you are going to have the time to vote come election day — Nov. 6 — or if you'll have to chose between voting or a trip to the grocery store for Corn Pops because that's the only thing your kids will eat before noon.
That's why someone invented early voting, probably. Early voting begins Thursday for Marion and Linn County residents at the Linn County Auditor's Office in Cedar Rapids.

But wait: are you registered to vote? If you don't know, enter your name and zip code at the Iowa Elections website to see. If not, see our handy guide for Iowa voter registration.
Note that some voting sites have changed in recent years, so it's a good idea to check out the Linn County Auditor's website to make sure you are going to the right place on election day.
