I purchased a framed picture, thinking it was a print, at a thrift store in Richland, Washington. When I removed the picture from the frame I was surprised to find an original watercolor, signed by the artist, Arlene Mineck. The date below her signature is 1980. 

The painting is lovely, something to be treasured and I would really like to return it Mrs Mineck. I googled and found one Arlene Mineck, with an address in Cedar Rapids. So my search starts here.
