Hooray! GameDay is coming to Ames
ESPN's College Gameday weekly TV Show announces that it will be coming to Ames, Iowa for the first time during the Iowa State and KU game.

Numerous sources have announced the popular College GameDay Weekly TV Show will be coming to Ames, Iowa on January 17th for the Iowa State - Kansas game.
Ever since the game was scheduled last year, Cyclone fans have been hopping and hollering to see the premier preview show film live at Hilton Coliseum. The game will tip off at 8:00pm CT on ESPN.
College GameDay started its basketball coverage in 2008, going from school to school during the 10 or so weeks of conference play. The show also airs their football version of GameDay, (which really launched its success) however this is the first time it has come to Ames.

Iowa State will also be hosting visits from 10 recruits in the football program, as Paul Rhoads highlighted in an interview with the Des Moines Register that it was important to have GameDay host a show in Ames.
The semi-rivalry is sure to be an exciting one this season and adding this show to it just hyped up the game to double of what it was going to be.
