Identity of Victim of Fatal Center Point Farm Accident Released

On Thursday at 6:33 p.m., Linn County Sheriff’s Deputies and Linn County Rescue 57 along with Troy Mills Fire Department and Center Point Ambulance Service responded to a farming related fatality accident in rural Linn County, in the Center Point area. 

Upon emergency personnel’s arrival, they found a male victim, Roger Bach, 56, in a cattle feed lot. Bach had been involved in an accident with a skid loader. 

Bach was declared dead at the scene. The accident occurred at his residence, of 4922 Alice Road near Center Point, according to officials.

The accident remains under investigation by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office and the Linn County Medical Examiners Office.
