Weather Alert for Marion: Frost, Hail and Thunderstorms

It's a little chilly today, but the weather might turn from a pleasant change of temperature to something less refreshing.

The National Weather Service has announced a hazardous weather outlook for Marion today.

The service warns that a "strong cold front" may lead to isolated thunderstorms this afternoon. We may get a "strong to severe" hail storm with up to 40 mph gusts.

There's also a chance of frost Wednesday morning, so Tuesday might be a good time to take preventative measures to protect your plants.
