Murder Case Delayed Due to Linn County Prosecutor's Illness
Linn County's assistant attorney, who is prosecuting the case of a man accused of killing a cab driver in Cedar Rapids, has fallen ill.

Linn County Assistant Attorney Nicholas Scott has called in sick today. Because he’s the prosecutor in the murder trial of a man accused of killing a cab driver, the court will have to wait another day.
Johnathan Mitchell, 33, of Cedar Rapids, is the defendant. He’s accused of killing Century Cab driver Cathy Stickley in April 2011. She was found dead with stab wounds to her head and neck, according to the Gazette.
Mitchell is charged with first-degree murder and first-degree robbery.
