Man Found Dead in Marion Residence

Marion Police said emergency responders found a dead man inside a Marion residence Monday morning.

Officers were called to the scene at 1223 Navajo Drive, where they found the man, who had been dead for days, according to police documents.

He was taken to the Iowa State Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy. Police currently do not suspect foul play and consider the incident to be an "unattended death."

Police have not released the name of the deceased.
