Marion Firefighters Will Be Santa To 100 Seniors Thursday
The fire department plans to deliver Christmas presents throughout the community.
From the Marion Fire Department: The Marion Fire Department will help make the holidays a little brighter for some area senior citizens on Thursday, Dec. 21 when they deliver Christmas gifts on behalf of Home Instead Senior Care’s “Be a Santa to a Senior” program.
Home Instead partners with local non-profit and community organizations to identify seniors who might not otherwise receive gifts during the holiday season. Members of the Marion Fire Department then sort and deliver the packages. This year there are nearly 100 deliveries on their list.
The deliveries will be made between 9-11 a.m. on Dec. 21.
