Marion Man Charged with Public Intoxication Just Outside of Home

Keith Lamont Woods was arrested for public intoxication/consumption just outside his residence by Marion Police.

Records show that Woods was charged on the 600 block of Seventh Street at 6:38 p.m. Sept. 21, near his residence at 599 Seventh Street.

Public consumption/intoxication is a simple misdemeanor.

The following were arrested by Marion Police between Sept. 20 and Sept. 26.

Christopher Vernon Smith, 23, 1440 Medowview Drive, Marion, was charged Sept. 20 with driving with a supsended license, speeding and not providing proof of insurance at the 4800 block of Eighth Avenue.

Kenyon Martha Thorp, 23, 2915 Midway Drive, Marion, was charged Sept. 21 with driving with a suspended license, not providing proof of insurance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, at the 5100 block of Highway 151. 

Tresha Rochelle Spears, 38, Cedar Rapids, was charged Sept. 21 with driving with a suspended license at the 3370 Seventh Avenue.

Bobby Lee Jenkins Jr, 208 Seventh Avenue, Marion, was charged Sept, 21 with simple domestic assault and possession of drug paraphernalia, at 208 Seventh Avenue.
