Marion Police Arrest 7 for Drug-Related Charges

The following information was provided by the Marion Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

arrested seven people for various drug-related charges, including possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, in the time period between July 28 and Aug. 9.

The arrests are as follows:

Brian Matthew Pastrick, Cedar Rapids, was charged July 31 with an OWI, first offense, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, at 1300 Seventh Avenue.

Tristian James Sabatino, 28, 2285 Northview Drive, Marion, was charged July 28 with possession of a controlled substance and public consumption, intoxication, at 889 Eighth Avenue.

Joseph Ryan Begley, 21, 788 Fifth Avenue, Marion, was charged August 2with unlawful possession of prescriptions drugs, at the 100 block of 31rst Street.

Masten James Thompson, 21, Martelle, was charged August 8 with possession of a controlled substance and driving with a suspended license, at the 900 block of Highway 100.

Elanor Hamilton Payne, 47, Cedar Rapids, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, at the 3200 block of First Avenue Northeast.

Donal Ozhan Driver, 18, Marion, was charged August 8 with possession of a controlled substance, at the 400 block of Fifth Avenue.

Elijah Joel Loney, 28, 309 16th Street, Marion, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, at the 300 block of Fifth Avenue.
