Marion's Former Mayor Pitches Lowe Park Amphitheater for County Dollars
Vic Klopfenstein, Marion's former Mayor approached Linn County Supervisors for matching funds for the Lowe Park Amphitheater.

Marion’s former Mayor Vic Klopfenstein approached the Linn County Supervisors Monday for matching funds for the Amphitheater.
The request was for $25,000 per year over a three year period from the county’s $200,000 economic development fund. Klopfenstein told the board that the county money would go towards matching money with local donors.
Linn County supervisors control the purse strings on the fund, and, they seemed fairly pleased by the proposition, according to the Gazette.
