Marion's Linn Co-Op Oil Co. Among First to Offer E15 Fuel
The Iowa Renewable Fuel Association is starting a billboard campaign in the area announcing that E15 ethanol/gasoline will be coming to the Linn Co-op Oil Company.

Marion's will be among the first providers to sell the ethanol/gasoline mixture E15.
The Iowa Renewable Fuels Association recently announced a billboard campaign declaring the availability of the Environmental Protection Agency approved fuel, which is available for cars, SUVs and "light-duty trucks" manufactured since 2001, according to a news release from the Iowa Renewable Fuels Association.
"It has been a very long time coming," Lucy Norton, the managing director of the Iowa Renewable Fuels Association, said in a news release. "We’re enthusiastic about Linn Co-op’s first-in-the-state status."

E15 is named as such because the mixture contains 15 percent ethanol, a 5 percentage point increase from E10, which has been available for decades.
Norton said the fuel will be available next week. The Linn Co-op Fuel Company can be found in Marion at 325 35th Street.
