Marion Teacher Acquitted In Sexual Abuse Reporting Case
Kindergarten teacher Diane Graham had ignored two students who reported sexual abuse by a teen classroom volunteer, prosecutors said.

TOLEDO, IA — A Marion teacher was acquitted Thursday of failing to report the sexual abuse of two of her students by a classroom volunteer. The trial in the case of teacher Diane Graham began Monday.
Graham, a kindergarten teacher, had been accused of failing to report that a 15-year-old classroom volunteer was abusing her students. The children reported the abuse to Graham, prosecutors said, but because she did not disclose it, the abuse continued for two months.
Graham testified Wednesday that she never saw or heard of any abuse, Cedar Rapids television station KCRG reported.
