Marion To Get Visit from Blue Zone Selection Committee
Marion will be getting a site visit from the Blue Zone Committee. The Chamber of Commerce hopes you'll join them.

A Blue Zone Project site selection committee will be visiting Marion on Nov. 14.
The group will be getting a feel for what the community is all about and the city's readiness to become a Blue Zone.
If none of that made any sense to you, Blue Zone project gives resources, including access to expertise and grants, in order for cities to become healthier.Â

Marion is a finalist in the running to be nominated by the Blue Zone committee.
Rachel Krug, the Marion Chamber of Commerce director of member service, invited the community to show up to the visit, at 7:30 a.m., outside the ESCO Group.
