Marion Under Temporary Water Ban After Well Fails

The City of has announced a temporary water ban this afternoon.

The city posted the following message on its website.

Effective Friday, July 27, the City of Marion is under a temporary watering ban due to the failure of one of our major wells. Northway Well is onsite to resolve the issue. The public will be notified as soon as the well is back online and the watering ban has been lifted.  Residents are asked to conserve water as much as possible.  Please do not water established lawns and refrain from any unnecessary water usage.
