No Early Release Due to Heat for Linn-Mar Schools
The district notified parents via its Facebook page not to expect early dismissals due to the heat as Linn-Mar's buildings are air conditioned.
Sorry Linn-Mar students, you happen to have the good fortune of being in a school district with air conditioning. So no early outs for you it appears.
Here is an announcement regarding potential early outs from the Linn-Mar Community School District's Facebook page.
As we all know, it's going to be hot in the Metro area this week. However, it'll be school as usual here at Linn-Mar Community Schools.Â
Though there is potential for power interruption on our main campus, the district will likely be able to buy through for our main campus buildings, which include Indian Creek, Excelsior, Linn-Mar High School and the Learning Resource Center.Â
Regarding outdoor athletic practices, coaches will be notifying students if there are any changes to schedules.
