Police Say Man Robbed Linn Area Credit Union With Note to Teller
A Marion man allegedly wrote a note to a Linn Area Credit Union teller demanding money and took off, according to police.

Marion resident Andrew Duane Hanson was arrested after allegedly robbing Marion's Linn Area Credit Union at 10:25 a.m. Wednesday.
Marion Police say the 32-year-old man wore a dark hoodie and a mask. He allegedly gave a teller a note demanding the money, was given the cash and took off. He did not show a weapon, police said, and nobody was injured.
Police investigated the incident and came across a man outside the Kirkwood Learning Center, detained him, and found a bag of money nearby from the bank, along with other evidence.
