From Cedar Rapids Police:
On 8 June 2013 at 2025 hours the Cedar Rapids Police Department were called to the 1400 BLK of Council ST NE reference a male threatening his wife’s ex-husband with a handgun.  Upon Arrival the CRPD located the suspect Mitchell Johnson 19811105 at his residence, 1240 Center ST NE.  CRPD secured the area and contacted Johnson who came out and was arrested for Assault with a dangerous weapon. Â
CRPD is currently in the process of securing a search warrant for the residence.  This investigation is still in progress at this time.
