Report: Man in Corvette Leads Marion Police on Late Night, High Speed Chase

Bryce Beisker, 21, faces numerous charges including felony eluding after a police chase late Tuesday.

 

A 21-year-old man faces several charges including a felony after Marion police say he took them on a high speed late night chase in a Corvette with dealership plates.

KCRG reports that Bryce Beisker, 21, faces several charges including felony eluding, reckless driving and failure to maintain contro, among othersl.

Police initially tracked Bryce Beisker at 81 miles per hour traveling westbound on Alburnett Road at 10 p.m. The posted speed limit on that road is 45 miles per hour. As Trooper Trainor started driving towards Beisker's Corvette, Beisker sped off and passed a car to turn right onto Oak Park Circle in Marion.

The report said the chase went throgh neighborhoods at 60 mph, the Corvette crashed through chain linked fences and eventually hit a tree.
