Sandbagging Help Sought In Central City And Anamosa

Central City:

On behalf of the Linn County Emergency Management Agency and the City of Central City, volunteers are being requested to assist with sandbagging efforts due to flooding of the Wapsipinicon River.

Volunteers should report to the Central City Fire Department located at 137 Fourth Street North at 3:30 this afternoon to receive assignments.

Meet at City Shop on Walworth Avenue, by dam on the river.
