Traffic Advisory: Flash Flooding on Collins Road NE

From Cedar Rapids: 

An immediate traffic advisory for the area around 140 Collins Road NE. The frontage road and parking lot of Sherwin-Williams is experiencing flooding.

Several vehicles have went into the flooded area and become disabled.  Firefighters helped remove a person out of a maroon Pontiac Grand Prix that has taken in water. 

No injuries have been reported at this time.

Please remind drivers to "Turn Around and Not Drown." Entering flooded areas is dangerous.

Police and Fire have the area blocked off to traffic at this time.
