Two Charged with Theft at Salvation Army — Marion Police Blotter

The following information was provided by the Marion Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Marion Police made the following arrests in the period between Aug. 10 and Sept. 6:

Tim Bowen III, 25 Cedar Rapids, was charged Sept. 7 with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance, at 790 Bentley Drive.

Ashley Marie Williams, 24, 2851 Mohwawk Avenue, Marion, was charged Sept., 8 with driving with a suspended license, at the 2200 Block of Pleasentview Drive.

David Wayne Durst, 37, 2981 29th Avenue, Cedar Rapids, was charged Sept. 8 with theft at The Marion Walmart.

Heather Leigh Vavricek, 43, Fairfax, was charged Sept. 9 with theft at the Salvation Army Thrift Store.

Melissa Lee Rettowski, 34, Cedar Rapids 34, was charged Sept. 9 with theft at the Salvation Army Thrift Store.

Matthew Ryan Conner, 23, 3090 Primrose Street, Marion, was charged Sept. 10 with interference with official acts, at 701 10th Street Southeast.

Rebeca Jean McCorkle, 18, 1435 George Drive, Marion, was charged Sept. 11 with Theft and persons under legal age, at the Marion Walmart.
