Your Chance to Hear Local Statehouse Candidates Debate in Marion

If you want to hear a civil discussion on local issues that directly affect your life, be sure to turn to one of two upcoming debates for Marion's Iowa statehouse candidates.

You can catch the debate for Iowa House District 68 candidates — Nick Wagner and Daniel Lundby — Thursday, starting 7 p.m. at the Kirkwood Training and Outreach Center in Marion.

The very next week; Oct. 25, you can watch a debate between Republican Paul Flood and Democrat Liz Mathis, both of whom are fighting for Iowa State Senate District 34, at the same time and the same venue.
