Young and old cyclists showed up in Walker Johnston Park Saturday morning for the first annual Mayor's Ride through Urbandale.

About 50 riders rode in the first annual Mayor's Bike Ride through Urbandale.

The ride was sponsored by the Urbandale Community Action Network and riders had the option of riding 5-mile, 10-mile or 20-mile loops through the city's network of recreational trails.
