Branstad Headlines Dallas County GOP Steak Fry

Several GOP candidates for U.S. Senate have also been invited to address the crowd.

Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad will headline the annual Dallas County Republican Steak Fry Dinner and Pie Auction that at Waukee South Middle School in Waukee Iowa on Thursday, Oct. 10, according to a news release.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. with dinner beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The Annual Steak Fry Dinner will feature Governor Terry Branstad as the headline speaker. Several Senate GOP candidates will also be addressing the crowd along with local state and county wide officials.

“It is great to be able to have Governor Branstad speak at the Dallas County Steak Fry. As the fastest growing county in Iowa, it is important that we continue to have a strong Republican GOP effort in 2014,” stated Chairman Christi Taylor.

Tickets to the event will be $35 dollars per person which can be purchased at the door the night of the event. The event will include a catered dinner and a chance to meet and greet a robust group of Republican candidates and state and local office holders.

After the dinner and the speeches have concluded there will be a pie auction, which the benefits will help Dallas County Republicans support both local and statewide Republican candidates.

“It is important with a lot of young families moving into Dallas County each year, that the Dallas County Republicans are able to effectively communicate our message that pro-economic growth and limited government policies help create the quality of life that the residents of Dallas County enjoy today,” said Co-Chairman Tyler De Haan.
