Congressman Tom Latham to Campaign for Dallas County Candidates
The congressman, whose new district includes Dallas County, will be at house parties next week for two Republican candidates for state senate.

Iowa Congressman Tom Latham, an eight-term Congressman, will be the featured guest at two fundraisers next week for Republican state senate candidates Jeff Mullen and Jake Chapman.
Both men are running for senate seats from separate districts.

Because of redistricting, Congressman Latham, an eight-term Congressman, plans to run against Leonard Boswell in Iowa's Third District, which includes Dallas County. Redistricting put him in the same district as Republican Steve King, so Latham decided to move.

Congressman Tom Latham Campaigns for Local Candidates
Dallas County, IA – Congressman Tom Latham will be the special guest at two DallasCounty fundraisers for Iowa Senate Candidates this week. The Congressman will be speaking at a fundraiser for Jake Chapman, Senate candidate District 10 on Monday, January 9th in Adel, Iowa. The following day, Congressman Latham will be speaking at a fundraiser for Jeff Mullen, Senate candidate District 22 on Tuesday, January 10th in Waukee, Iowa.
"What a privilege it is to have Congressman Latham at our house party,” said Jeff Mullen. “Congressman Latham has faithfully served the people of Iowa and in the midst of one of his toughest campaigns he is still willing to take the time to support my campaign…that is truly a great example selfless leadership.”

Due to the redistricting process that takes place every ten years, Iowa’s Congressional district boundaries will change. Because of this change Tom Latham will be running for Congress in Iowa’s new Third Congressional District, which includes Dallas County.
