A new obstacle for a contested political map that puts Urbandale and Clive supervisors - the only two Republicans on the Polk County Board of Supervisors - in the same district. The Iowa Secretary of State Thursday afternoon rejected the map for technical reasons, reports kcci.com.  The map is also the subject of a complaint of gerrymandering and an investigation by the Iowa Ethics & Campaign Disclosure Board.
