Did Man Think Third Time Would Be a Charm?
A former Motel Relax tenant was persistent in his efforts with a woman, according to Urbandale police reports.

Todd E. Jenkins isn't particularly good at following instructions, according to Urbandale police.
Jenkins, 41, of Des Moines was staying at Motel Relax earlier this month when a 43-year-old woman who also was staying there complained to police that he was harassing her by calling and knocking on her door.
Officers went to Jenkins and told him to stay away from the woman and not to call her. They told him he'd be arrested if he did.

As soon as they left, the woman told police that Jenkins came right back to her room.
Jenkins was charged with harassment and public intoxication and taken to the Polk County Jail. He also was kicked out of his room by motel staff, said Lt. Rob Johansen.Â

Jenkins eventually got out of jail and on July 10, he allegedly went to the woman again and began threatening her. This time, he was arrested on a felony harassment charge, said Johansen.
Jenkins is being held in the Polk County Jail on a cash-only bond of $2,000.
