Female Fights to Road Rage: Urbandale Police Blotter

Urbandale Police investigated incidents, from assaults to road rage to car theft, earlier this month.

The Urbandale arrests below are preliminary criminal charges. They do not represent convictions or court resolutions. 

June 9: Tracey L. Fucaloro, 40, of Urbandale, was charged with aggravated assault. Police reports say that Fucaloro confronted her husband and another woman at 3 a.m. in the parking lot of Valerius School. She allegedly began fighting with the 39-year-old woman.

June 8: Sanabria D. Sandoval, 25, of Des Moines was charged with second-degree theft from Home Depot. A police report said Sandoval was working as a cashier at the store and is accused of not scanning some items for her friends.

June 6: Andrew Anderson-Butts, 25, of Des Moines was charged with second-degree harassment. Butts is accused of threatening to use a knife as a weapon while in an argument with several people in an apartment in the 7400 block of Camden Lane.

June 1: Timothy R. Herold, 47, of Ankeny was charged with simple assault and assault while displaying a weapon after an alleged incident of road rage in Urbandale, said Urbandale Lt. Rob Johansen. Samuel Abe, 19, of Des Moines said he was driving on Interstate 80/35 when Herold began tailgating him and angrily gesturing at him and motioning him to pull over.

Abe pulled over and the two men began arguing. Herold allegedly went back and got a handgun out of his truck. While he did not point it at Abe, Abe said he held it at his side during the argument.

Abe got back in his car, jotted down the license number of the other vehicle, drove to the Burger King on the 86th Street exit and called police, according to the report. Herold was arrested later.

May 31: Juma M. Deng, 18, of Urbandale was charged with theft of a motor vehicle. The car was parked in a driveway in the 7500 block of Goodman Drive with the keys in it, when it was stolen on May 29. Two days later, Des Moines police spotted the car with four young men inside it. All four fled, but Deng was injured and was arrested and charged with car theft.
