Election Day at Living History Farms

When: Saturday July 30, Open 9-4, Activities 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

What: It’s Election Day in Walnut Hill! Who will be the new mayor? Will there be a town temperance law? The 1875 town of Walnut Hill makes a decision at the polls and you’re invited to help get out the vote!Join candidates for an 1875 style mayoral debate. Try your own hand at swaying votes by creating an election stump speech. Print a ballot in the Advocate Newspaper Office. Museum guests may cast their own fictional vote for mayor and share in the fun of past political processes.

Price: $15/Adult, $9.00/Child, Children 1 and under free, members free
