Fire Reported At Cobblestone 9 Theaters In Urbandale
Customers and employees in the theaters reportedly have been evacuated safely.
URBANDALE, IA — A fire Monday afternoon at the AMC Classic Cobblestone 9 theaters reportedly was discovered when customers watching a movie smelled smoke and notified theater management, WHO-TV reported. The extent of damage is not known.
WHO reported fire crews were called to the theaters at 8501 Hickman Road about 4:30 p.m. and when they arrived, they discovered the fire was on the roof.
The TV station reported that everyone in the theater was safely evacuated and no injuries were reported.
