Freeze Warning This Morning in Urbandale

Your plants survived this morning's freezing temperatures without a blanket, but there's more frost danger tonight. 

That’s when Urbandale is most vulnerable to sustained freezing temperatures that could nip blooms that are about a month ahead of schedule.

There is a freeze warning until 9 a.m. today for Polk and Dallas counties, as well as for many other Iowa counties. WHO-TV reported the early morning low temperatures at around 30 degrees today.

The National Weather Service says central Iowans can expect another cold night Tuesday with temperatures at or near freezing and patchy frost after 4 a.m.
