Informational Meetings on Proposed Urbandale Fire Station #43

Proposed new fire station

The City of Urbandale is planning a series of open house events to answer questions from the community about proposed Fire Station #43 & the associated fuel station, on the November 7th upcoming bond referendum. The open houses will serve to present project goals and objectives, as well as answer questions about this project and the special referendum vote.
Community members are encouraged to meet City staff who will be available to describe the proposed fire station, answer questions, and gather input regarding the proposal. For those unable to attend the meeting, but would like to provide input or get further information, please contact Chief Jerry Holt, Fire Chief, at 515.278-6741 or jholt@urbandale.org.
The meeting will be an open house format so community members may come and go at their convenience:
Thursday, 9/21, 6:30-7:30 p.m., at Urbandale High School
Wednesday, 9/27, 6:30-7:30 p.m., at Walnut Hills Elementary School
Wednesday, 10/04, 6:30-7:30 p.m., at Karen Acres Elementary School
Tuesday, 10/10, 6:30-7:30 p.m., at Webster Elementary School
Thursday, 10/19, 6:30-7:30 p.m., at Giovannetti Community Shelter
Wednesday, 10/25, 6:30-730 p.m., at Shuler Elementary School
