Ioway Culture Day at Living History Farms

When: Saturday, July 16, Open 9-4, Activities 10-3

What: The people of the Ioway nation were some of Iowa’s first farmers! Explore this Native American culture which gave Iowa its name. Hands-on activities offer visitors an opportunity to experience how the Ioway built their homes, prepared food, and farmed. Guest presenters will share their own personal expertise in Ioway culture and technology. Be sure to allow time to ride the tractor cart out to the 1700 Ioway Farm! The last tractor cart out to the Ioway Farm will leave at 2pm.

Price: $15/Adult, $9.00/Child, Children 1 and under free, members free
