Is Your Pet Cute? Bring Them to Urbandale's Pet Show

The Urbandale Library is sponsoring a pet show to appeal to kids and families Thursday afternoon.

Are the kids bored already? Here's something you, the kids, and your family pet can do Thursday afternoon.

The is sponsoring its annual big summer event — a pet show at the Charles Gabus Memorial Tree Park just south of the library.

Kids and grownups can bring their pet, from 1:30 to 3 p.m., and each pet will win a ribbon and be judged in various categories — looks, personality, costumes. There will even be a pet parade!
