J-Hawks Start Season at No. 11 on USA Today’s Super Sports 25

The Urbandale J-Hawks are ranked No. 11 in pre-season rankings in USA Today’s Super Sports 25, a listing of expected high school football powerhouses in the season that begins later this month.

Other Central Iowa Metro League teams earning mention include No. 1 Ankeny, No. 2 Southeast Polk, No. 3 Dowling Catholic, No. 15 Waukee, No. 19 Johnston

The J-Hawks started practice Monday and open the 2013-2014 football season Aug. 30 against Fort Dodge at Frerichs Field.
