Advice to Urbandale Ladies: Just Let The Men Go
Four people were arrested last week after fighting with a domestic partner or loved one.

Tuesday, May 22: Tia N. Thomas, 22, of Urbandale was charged with misdemeanor domestic abuse in connection with a fight with her boyfriend.

Police were called to an apartment building in the 7800 block of Iltis Avenue by a neighbor who said they heard yelling and sounds of something being thrown. Police said they found Thomas and her boyfriend in the apartment. They had been arguing and he was trying to leave and she allegedly was trying to keep him from leaving. The man had scratches on his bicep and a torn shirt, so Thomas was charged.
Wednesday May 23: Annemarie E. Gogerty, 43, of Urbandale was charged with misdemeanor domestic abuse.

A witness called police saying they were watching a woman striking a man as he was trying to put his clothes in a vehicle parked at 4515 60th St. When police arrived, the man had no visible injuries, but according to the police report, the couple admitted that they had been fighting and that she was trying to keep him from leaving, so Gogerty was arrested.
Friday, May 25: Ramon Gonzalez-Gomez, 37, of Urbandale, was charged with domestic assault with injury, and being fugitive from justice.
Police were called to an apartment at 2624 Patricia Drive, by a neighbor who said they could hear sounds of banging and screaming and children crying. According to the police report, Gonzalez-Gomez left the house and came back late. An argument ensued and he allegedly grabbed his 34-year-old wife around the neck. She had red marks on her neck and so he was arrested. Police later discovered that he was wanted on charges from Scott County, said Lt. Rob Johansen.
Saturday, May 26: Shane M. Kueck, 24, of Urbandale, was arrested on charges of public intoxication and resisting arrest.
Police were called to the intersection of Sandler Drive and Sandler Circle where there was a report of a man and a woman fighting on the street. When they arrived, the man ran off, despite being ordered to stop by police. And officer chased him down and arrested him. The woman declined to press assault charges against him, but police filed charges of intoxication charge and resisting arrest, said Lt. Johansen.
