Last Chance to File Your Tax Returns on TIme

Procrastinators are in luck: you have until 11:59 p.m. tomorrow night to file your tax return on time. 

The deadline is extended this year because April 15 fell on a Sunday and today is a holiday in the District of Columbia.

But don't count on post offices staying open late Tuesday night to take your returns as they have in the past. 

If you're mailing your return, check out the USPS website for hours at Urbandale postal stations. will be open until 5:45 p.m. Tuesday.
