Learn About Urbandale Firefighting

The goal of Urbandale's Citizen Fire Academy is to enhance relationships between Urbandale residents and the men and women of the Urbandale Fire Department.

Participants of the program will have the unique opportunity to learn how the Urbandale Fire Department provides quality community services to its customers.

The Citizen Fire Academy will meet once a week for eight weeks on Thursdays from 6 to 10 p.m. starting March 29.

Applications to participate in the Citizen Fire Academy can be downloaded from the city's website here.

Participants must be at least eighteen years old to participate in the Academy. Applications must be received by Friday, Feb. 10.
