Like Urbandale's Fireworks? Buy a Button

The Urbandale Lions Club are selling Urbandale Fourth of July celebrations at the Urbandale from now until the holiday.

Mark Courter, a member of the Urbandale Fourth of July Committee, said all the fireworks and the other costs of the three-day celebration are raised through the purchase of the buttons, fees to vendors and parade entry fees.

Urbandale lays claim to the largest "small-town" Fourth of July celebration in the Des Moines area.
