Lock Your Cars Urbandale; More Thefts From Autos

The Urbandale arrests below are preliminary criminal charges. They do not represent convictions or court resolutions. 

Friday, May 11: Randall E. Campbell, 30, of Pleasant Hill was charged with second-degree theft from a building. Campbell allegedly was staying off and on at an apartment in the 8800 block of  Hickman Road. He is accused of stealing an XBox, video games and a DVD player.

Monday, May 7: A 47-year-old Urbandale woman and a 16-year-old girl reported the theft of $79, two gift cards and a bank debit card from their car while it was parked in the 8300 block of Ridgemont Drive.   

Tuesday, May 8: A 26-year-old Urbandale man reported theft of a stereo and amplifier from his Ford Mustang while it was parked in the 6800 block of Holcomb Avenue.  

Thursday, May 10: A 22-year-old Des Moines man reported the theft of a DVD player from his vehicle while it was parked in the 3800 block of 106th Street.
