Lock Your Cars Urbandale; More Thefts From Autos
Thieves took the opportunity of unlocked vehicles to steal in Urbandale.

The Urbandale arrests below are preliminary criminal charges. They do not represent convictions or court resolutions.Â
Friday, May 11: Randall E. Campbell, 30, of Pleasant Hill was charged with second-degree theft from a building. Campbell allegedly was staying off and on at an apartment in the 8800 block of  Hickman Road. He is accused of stealing an XBox, video games and a DVD player.

Monday, May 7: A 47-year-old Urbandale woman and a 16-year-old girl reported the theft of $79, two gift cards and a bank debit card from their car while it was parked in the 8300 block of Ridgemont Drive.  Â
Tuesday, May 8: A 26-year-old Urbandale man reported theft of a stereo and amplifier from his Ford Mustang while it was parked in the 6800 block of Holcomb Avenue. Â

Thursday, May 10: A 22-year-old Des Moines man reported the theft of a DVD player from his vehicle while it was parked in the 3800 block of 106th Street.Â
