Look Who Got Arrested Last Week On Drug Charges in Urbandale
Urbandale police charged five people with drug offenses last week.

The Urbandale arrests below are preliminary criminal charges. They do not represent convictions or court resolutions.Â
SUNDAY, Feb. 19: Marvin W. Hines, 46, of Clive, was arrested on marijuana possession charges after a traffic stop.Â
FRIDAY, Feb. 17: Jeri A. Fitch, 45, of Des Moines, was charged with possession of synthetic drugs. Lt. Rob Johansen said Fitch had four pills in her purse that looked to an officer like Valium when she was stopped for a traffic infraction in 2010. Fitch was not arrested at the time, but the pills were seized and sent to the lab for analysis. Later, police could not find her to make an arrest and issued an arrest warrant. Johansen said she was arrested on that warrant on Feb. 17.

THURSDAY, Feb. 16: Ronald W. Conrad, 60, of Eldon, and Richard D. Leavitt, 63, of Laguna Beach, CA., were charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana, conspiracy to deliver a schedule 1 drug and drug tax stamp violations.
MONDAY, Feb. 13: Katherine A. Guthrie, 40, of Urbandale, was charged with presenting a fraudulent prescription for Vicodin at the Super Target. The pharmacist on duty became suspicious and called the doctor's office to verify the prescription. When the doctor's staff said no one had written that prescription, the pharmacist call police and Guthrie was arrested her when she came back to the store to pick up the prescription.
