In Case You Missed It: Former Urbandale School Board President to Join Library Board

Diana Ripperger will be appointed to the Urbandale Library Board by Mayor Robert Andeweg.

Andeweg notified the City Council of his appointment choice before the council's meeting Tuesday.

Ripperger, 3413 Eula Drive,  has lived in Urbandale for 33 years, is a Mary Kay Cosmetics consultant and an active volunteer with St. Stephens Lutheran Church. She was on the Urbandale School Board for nine years and was board president for two years.

Ripperger replaces Kris Winter who resigned because she accepted a business contract with the city.
