Why a 100-pound girl ended up in handcuffs in a police car.

Urbandale police were trying to help a 16-year-old girl Wednesday when one of the officers found herself on the receiving end of some hurt, according to police records.

Officers Brandi Weih and Rebecca Taylor were called to the 4500 block of 71st Street by the parents of the girl, said Lt. Rob Johansen.
